4.)"My family of 6 stayed there both coming and going through Kota Bharu on our way to Perhentian. Mr. Lee went far, far out of his way to accommodate our needs, at all hours, including finding dinner for us, taking us out in a storm to get some things for the kids, walking us thru the airport ensuring that we found our way, handling any other questions or concerns. 5.) "We stayed at Mr Lees guest house in April 2006 on returning from Perhentian Besar to KL. Mr Lee very helpful. Arranged by Email to transfer us (4) from Kota bharu airport to jetty and he picked us up 3 days later to stop off at guest house overnight. Very clean spacious .A bit out of town centre. but he is happy to drive you round sightsand in the evening for very reasonable fee. He even Emailed photos of us at temples etc. on our return to UK. "This guesthouse is fantastics ,it is immaculately clean and it is by far the best one I have stayed in during my travels.Mr.Lee picked us up from the town and basically drove us around wherever and whenever we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. 10.) We're really fascinated by Mr. Lee kindness and hospitality. He's very helpful and he is curious about your future plans just to know how he could be helpful. He arranged not only our transfer to Kuala Besut but also a boat transfer to Perhentians and even a boat transfer from Perhentians to Redang in 5 days. He told us about the weather forecast, about how to arrange our money matters before leaving to islands and much more information.
Rooms are very, very clean and Mr. Lee thinks about all: our breakfast was unexpected but very nice.

14.) Staying in Lee's Guesthouse in Kota Bharu has been wonderful experience for my family. The house would have to be cleanest and most spacious guesthouse/hostel in Asia.( or in fact in the world.) Mr.Lee has been a wonderful host,very generous and kind to give us so much time showing us around and the breakfast was excellent.We will stay here again and I have no doubt I will recommend Lee's Guesthouse to all our friends in Australia. 15.) This is actually our second stay at Mr. Lee's guesthouse on our journey. Mr.Lee has gone out all his way to make our stay comfortable & pleasant. No request is unheard. We had an injured traveller with us and Mr.Lee took us to his family doctor! He has made this part of our trip extremely memorable! 19.) It is just fantastic this place ! The best guesthouse I ever saw. And it is a great chance to see the cultural show and the night market! Mr.Lee Is so friendly and helpful. Mr.Lee's looked after us both before and after our trip to Perhentian Islands.This was particularly helpful on arrival after 12 1/2 hours flight from London to Kuala Lumpur followed by the internal flight to Kota Bharu especially with our two small children.Make sure to put a review on "Trip Advisor" or equivalent to help his guest numbers." My best "FIND" ever on the internet:- House was spotless and Mr.Lee couldn't have done more for my party which included 4 borsterous grandsons:-9,6,4,3:- driving us everywhere both to the sights and also to the best takeaways for best local foods to be brought back so much easier than feeding young chldren than in a restaurant.Having both owned a small hotel and worked for the bigger chains the whole experience couldn"t have been better. 25.) Thanks to some friends who recommended the Lee Guesthouse to us,We have had a wonderful time in Kota Bharu. ***** Service and hospitality from the fabulous Mr.Lee. His caring attitude towards myself,my husband and our children,Emma (8) and Will (2)has been much appreciated.Travelling with a toddler can be stressful at times but Mr.Lee was considerate and helpful, even stopping to buy a ball for them to play with on the way to Perhentian Island and entertaining our active 2 years old at the cultural show and night market. ! ( No extra charge for childcare either). In these times where great service is a rarity, we commend Mr.Lee for his dedication to his guests. We hope to come back in the future and will certainly be recommending the Lee Guesthouse to those travelling to Kota Bharu. 27.) Second time ,we stayed at this great guesthouse.Mr.Lee took time to show us around ,brought us to Kuala Besut ,picked us up 3 days later and brought us right to a small place to hang around. He even took the liberance to buy us Lunch for he knew that there were no place to be found during the Ramadan. About all the places we stayed in Malaysia,this was the best place to be. 33.) This is probably the best guesthouse we have stayed a in Asia ! Mr. Lee bent over backwards to make staying here easy and provide for our every needs.He even gave up his free weekend to drive us around the town and drove 1/2 hour to get our train tickects from another town.
